Founded in Dakar, rooted in the future

Founded in 2015 in Dakar by passionate engineers, COTRAC - Compagnie des Travaux et Constructions - has established itself as a key reference in civil engineering, high-voltage electrical networks and infrastructure in Senegal.

Driven by a long-term vision, our teams are firmly committed to the Senegal 2050 Plan: building durable, reliable infrastructure that serves communities.

With four complementary areas of expertise and over twenty-five projects completed across the country, COTRAC combines technical rigour with human commitment.

The milestones that shaped us

2015
COTRAC founded
Company created in Dakar by a team of Senegalese engineers with the ambition of modernising national infrastructure.
2017
First HVA network
Completion of the first high-voltage alternating (HVA) network in the Thiès region, marking our entry into rural electrification.
2019
Roads & Civil Engineering expansion
Launch of the Roads & Utilities division, with the construction and rehabilitation of several strategic axes in Senegal.
2022
Industrial engineering
Opening of the Industrial Engineering division, expanding our scope to the installation of complex mechanical and energy systems.
2024
Senegal 2050 commitment
COTRAC aligns with the Senegal 2050 vision and strengthens its public-private partnerships to support the country's sustainable development.
